Production and processing of tubes
Rytíř, Martin ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis presents the analysis of individual methods used in the production of seamless and seam steel pipes. It is a literature review that describes the essence of individual approaches to production, their comparison and use in the domestic market. In particular, it describes seamless tubes produced by centrifugal casting and a forming method which further divides them into rolling, pressing and drawing, and seams, made of sheets and strips, which are formed into a tube shape and welded by an appropriate method falling under the category of fusion or pressure welding.
Optimization of manufacturing process of tubes
Kohout, Jaroslav ; Staněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Elaborated thesis presents a proposal to increase welding speed in the process of production of stainless steel tubes 1.4301 and 1.4404. Based on analysis of the existing method was evaluated, that performance improvement would be most appropriate by adjusting the welding technology. Four methods have been proposed, describing the principle, andvantages and disadvantages. The most effective and cheapest was the modification of the existing TIG method using two torches, with the possible improvement of using another shielding gas.
Forming of thin-walled tubes
Baránek, Tomáš ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This work brings a synopsis of technologies used in the process of thin-walled tubes forming as well as their evaluation. There are various forming methods applied in order to achieve a required shape e.g. tube bending, radial tube tripping and tube forming. The bending is done by several means e.g. collaring, reeling and pressing. In the pipe bending operation the tube may get deformed. Thus there might occur the following bending defects e.g. wall thinning, excessive flattening, wrinkles in the bend, tube suspension. At the radial tube tripping may occur local tube tapering or tube diameter attenuation. Tube forming is dividend into inlet, outlet and flattening.

On the technology of tube scarfing
Řezáč, Matěj ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the technology of scarfing longitudinal welds in welded tubes. The theoretical part describes methods of production tubes. It also analyzes the method used in Mubea company. The experimental part presents the design of two innovative technologies of scarfing welds tubes, their experimental validation and subsequent evaluation. The experimental part also presents a design of the machine that must be produced for this operation.
